Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am no ordinary house cat. My name is Duncan and I work for a living. I like to feel the grass under my paws and the wind in my fur as I protect your yard from invading mice. My hunting skills are no match for them and rest assured you will be glad you picked me as your guard kitty. While most cats enjoy snuggles and feather toys, I prefer the rugged outdoors where no one will interfere with my mission. All I require is a nice warm place to sleep and access to some good food and water. Your food tastes much better than the stuff I catch for you. If you need a yard cat, a barn cat, or a guard cat, take me home today, you won’t be disappointed. You have to adopt more than one of us if you don`t already have a working cat- we are much happier in pairs.
*Please speak with an adoption specialist for details on how to adopt me.*
~My adoption fee is waived.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
