Montclair is a 9-month-old pittie mix bursting with joy and affection. He’s timid and underconfident at first, but once he knows you, this playful pup greets you with a wagging tail, soft eyes, and boundless excitement. He’s looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, consistency, and gentle handling so that he can continue to grow.
Eager to impress, Montclair’s already learned sit, down, touch, and spin. He enjoys toys, exploring, and most of all, being close to his person. He loves rolling over for belly rubs and crawling into laps for cuddles. On leash, he’s happy to check in, and he’s gentle when taking treats.
In shelter playgroups, Montclair gets along with other friendly dogs. He could do well in a home with well-matched dogs, or as a solo pup with occasional playdates.
With his affectionate nature, Montclair is ready to bring endless snuggles to a loving home. He's healing from a tibial tuberosity fracture, a common injury in young, active dogs, so a follow-up with your veterinarian is recommended.
