On Oct 26, 2025, we saw her meowing out loud over the fence of the apartment building behind our house, perhaps she was very hungry. She was looking at my backyard resident cats (Timi and Soxy) eat their dinner. In the morning, she was back at that fence, crying out loud again while seeing Timi and Soxy eat breakfast. I called the Building Porter, Joseph, asking him if he could help the cat cross into our yard. He did, and my husband and I suddenly saw this kitten walked towards us. We gave her a Squeeze Up treat, followed by wet cat food, which she finished quickly. This kitten showed signs that she came from someone's home. Unfortunately, she was released to the outside world. She is very sweet and very affectionate. It was easy to scoop her up.
On Oct28, we had her spayed, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV Snap, and Convenia Injection. We learned that she's about 8mos old. She stays in our basement. We have pet birds that were un-caged, which is why we can't keep her.
