My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**

Meet Bubba, a 4–6-month-old, 45 lb pitbull with possible Vizsla mix with a giant heart and an even bigger personality! This big, goofy puppy is all about love, playtime, and figuring out life one silly step at a time. Bubba may not quite realize his size yet, but he definitely knows how to make people smile.

He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, and he sleeps soundly through the night in his crate after a few minutes of protest. Bubba is very responsive to the little bit of training he’s had so far, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who’s excited to continue guiding him as he grows.

Bubba was found wandering the streets with a female dog who is suspected to be his sister, though he hasn’t yet been tested with other dogs, kids, or cats in his foster home. With proper introductions, he may do wonderfully—he just hasn’t had those opportunities yet.  Bubba does not require a fenced in yard, but will require an adopter who will make sure he gets ample exercise and enrichment.

If you’re looking for a lovable, eager-to-learn puppy who will reward you with endless affection (and probably some hilarious oversized puppy antics), Bubba might be your perfect match!

Bubba’s adoption fee is $400.00  He will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations before heading to his forever home.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
