🐾 Meet Patches — The Fluffy Little Miracle Who Learned to Love Again 🧡
Patches’ story is one of patience, resilience, and a heart that refused to give up on humans. A year ago, this beautiful girl wouldn’t come within 90 feet of anyone. She hid in the brush, quietly waiting for food until the coast was clear. If you approached, she kept her distance. If you tried to touch her, she’d hiss and swat — terrified, unsure, and clearly carrying the weight of a past where someone had not been kind to her.
But Patches also desperately wanted connection.
With time, consistency, and gentle care, she began creeping closer for meals. The hissing faded… then the swats softened… then one day, she allowed gentle pets on her neck and shoulders. And now? 95% of the time, Patches is an affectionate, sweet, social girl who rubs on her person, leans into attention, and shows just how big her heart really is.
Occasionally she can get overstimulated and raise a paw as if to say she needs a moment — but it’s simply her way of communicating. Give her a quick break, and she settles right back into being your loving little cuddle-bug.
Patches also has a quirky eye that has been the same for over a year — watery, a bit “off,” and possibly blind, but it doesn’t slow her down or affect her happiness one bit. It simply adds to her charm.
She does not get along with other cats, so she will need to be the only feline in the home.
Most importantly, Patches is currently living in an unsafe environment. Construction has started in the area she calls home, and the noise, machines, and disruption have made it dangerous for her to remain outdoors. She urgently needs a safe, stable place where she can feel secure and continue blossoming into the affectionate girl she’s become.
If her rescuer could keep her, they absolutely would — that’s how special she is.
Patches is precious, brave, affectionate, and so deserving of a forever family who will show her what true safety and love feel like.

We are a small rescue group that saves abandoned kittens and cats off of the streets, vets them and work to find them a happy safe next chapter. We are also hitting the overpopulation problem with hitting it at its core with TNR.
