Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Cassia! 🐶😍 This 7-month-old Chihuahua/Husky mix is basically a walking ray of sunshine. With ears that look like they could pick up satellite signals and a smile that never quits, she’s equal parts silly and sweet.
Cassia has plenty of pep in her step and would love a home that can keep up with her goofy zoomies, toy-tossing sessions, and “look at me” moments that will have you in stitches. She’s got a whole lot of personality packed into her little frame, and she’s not afraid to show it off!
She’s wonderfully social—great with kids, cats, and other dogs—and would especially benefit from a canine companion to help her run off some of that puppy energy (and join in her hilarious zoomie routines). After playtime, though, she’s all about the cuddles.
She’s crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Cassia isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for a family (and maybe a furry sibling!) to laugh with, cuddle with, and love forever. 🐾❤️
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
