Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bette is a young, fluffy, black and white cat with medium length fur and beautiful yellow/green eyes. More than that, she is extraordinarily friendly, confident, and sweet.
The very first night in her foster home, Bette wasn't afraid at all. She didn't try to run or hide. As soon as she stepped out of the cat carrier, she was walking straight into her foster human's lap and demanding pets.
When her foster human is cooking, Bette will politely ask to be picked up so that she can watch what is happening. Bette enjoys being where the action is, but she is also respectful of quiet alone time. She doesn't claw or meow at closed doors, and she is well behaved during her foster human's 8-hour work day. She is happy to find a toy to entertain herself with, although she would always rather be purring in your lap.
Bette has a lovely purr and an even sweeter meow. She loves to chat with her foster human, and will carry on a "conversation" with you if you meow back at her. Best of all, she will always run to the door to tell her human how happy she is when you come home.
Bette would love an active home with other people and pets. She does very well with kids, respectful dogs, and other cats. Bette eats her dry food free-fed and she hasn't had any issues using her litterbox.
Bette is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
