Just like her name suggests, Pixie is a playful cat with lots of affection to spare. As soon as she meets you, she's already rubbing against you! Once she decompresses in a new environment, she's as chatty as can be.
Pixie loves to play, but can become overstimulated. It's very easy to redirect her during these moments by giving her a toy. Pixie has not met any cats or dogs, but may do well with other cats and dogs with proper introductions and boundaries put into place. She has not met any kids either, but may not do well in a home with small children, as she can give lovebites if not properly redirected when she's overstimulated.

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
