Poor Weenie has been adopted, abandoned, returned to the shelter, adopted again, surrendered to rescue due to an emergency, and is now back with her amazing foster.

She is one of the silliest and snuggliest dogs I have had here in a while. Here are some of her résumé worthy qualities:

🌭 Dog friendly. She takes a few days to understand that the natives are not there to compete for resources, but once she learns that dogs mean friends, this girl could play all day. She prefers smaller dogs or male dogs, but she can get along with anyone if her adopter gives her the patience she needs, usually around three days, to settle in and learn her environment.

🌭 Kid friendly. Older kids are recommended since sudden movements can startle her. Just like with dogs, slow and patient introductions are the key to success.

🌭 House broken. Only one accident and that was because she had too many snackies.

🌭 Crate trained. She will have words if you leave her in there and she is missing the action, but if it is time to settle for the night or you are heading to work, she will not complain.

🌭 Cat curious but respectful. She has seen cats up close and is definitely curious, but she will give them space. I recommend dog savvy cats or a safe space for cats to separate from her until they can be slowly introduced.

🌭 Lover of stuffies. Toys are life.

🌭 Smartie. She knows sit and paw.

🌭 Extremely snuggly. She will climb right into your lap for lovins and is not afraid to use those big brown eyes to make you feel bad about stopping the scritches.
