Etouffee is a mixed breed puppy who’s expected to be medium-sized when he grows up, and he’s at the stage where everything is new and exciting. Like any young dog, he has a lot to learn, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who has the time, consistency, and patience to guide him. He needs someone who can help him build good habits, navigate the world with confidence, and grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be.

He’s a sweet, impressionable pup looking for structure, routine, and plenty of positive experiences. With the right person by his side, Etouffee has all the potential to become a loyal, happy companion.

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

We are a foster-only rescue and do not have a physical location. Please email us at adopt@heartsandbonesrescue.org to arrange a private meeting with our dogs or visit us at an adoption event. We host events every weekend at various locations around NYC.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
