Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sheldon — a 2 year old black lab mix with a heart bigger than his sad puppy-dog eyes let on. Life gave him a plot twist when he was surrendered through no fault of his own, and honestly, he’s still working on his comeback story. Sheldon is a gentle boy who gets overwhelmed by the shelter chaos, but once he knows you, he’s a full-on love machine — snuggles, cuddles, and face nuzzles included (sometimes unsolicited, but hey, that’s love). He’s got a goofy side too: give him a yard and a little trust, and he’ll zoom around like a furry superhero on a mission, with treats as his kryptonite. Black dogs like Sheldon often wait the longest for their forever homes, but he’s worth every moment of patience — this sweet boy is ready to be someone’s loyal, hilarious, heart-healing companion if you’ll take a chance on him.
By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.
