Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Walt is a shy, sensitive boy who has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. When he first came in, he was extremely fearful of people and unsure of everything around him. With gentle handling and the steady companionship of his yard buddy, Wilson, Walt has started to blossom. He’s learning that people can be safe, and he’s beginning to show his sweet, cautious personality to those he trusts. Walt will need adopters who understand that confidence takes time. He thrives in calm environments, appreciates predictable routines, and does best when allowed to approach at his own pace. He’s still an unsure dog, but with patience and consistency, he has the potential to form deep, meaningful bonds. Because sudden noises and fast movement can be overwhelming for him, Walt would likely do best in a home without children. What he needs most is a quiet place, a kind heart, and someone willing to help him continue his journey from fear to trust. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and watch grow, Walt may be the perfect match.
