My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT LOLA
Meet our adorable little lady, Lola! This sweet pup came to HAP as a stray. Although we don’t know much about her past, we’ve learned a lot about her since she’s been with us. Lola is affectionate, cuddly, and playful. She loves spending time outside, whether she’s playing or just running around the field having fun. Lola can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she may take a bit of time to warm up. But once she does, she’ll be your loyal shadow and constant companion! Because of her shy nature, Lola sometimes finds it challenging to make doggy friends. While she has made a few here, she may do best as the only dog in her new home, at least until she builds more confidence. She’s still a puppy with lots to learn, but her love of treats and toys makes training easy and fun. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful cutie to join your family, Lola would make a wonderful addition to your home!

If you're interested in this dog, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is first-come, best-match basis. We are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in a specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children's and other dogs, must come for the meeting to ensure its a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fee's include the animals spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
