Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is the most cuddly pup you'll ever meet. She loves to snuggle right next to your face, or nap on the couch with you. This little sour patch kid is full to the brim with excitement and energy. She loves to run, jump and play. Mia does well with other dogs, but doesn't really understand boundaries. She thinks everyone wants to play with her. She loves toys with squeakers.
She walks well on leash unless she sees something interesting and then she may pull you some.
She is doing well with house training, but still has the occasional accident. She is very good about using puppy pads.
Mia can be housed with cats, she shows no aggression to them, but does enjoy chasing my boys through the house, which may stress a cat out. If you're looking for high energy, big cuddles, and a sweet face Mia may be the dog for you. She should be small/medium sized full grown.
Mia would do best in a home with kids or another dog to play with
As of 11/9/25 she weighs 20 lbs. Consider putting in an application for her.

Submit Application
Once you have found one of our wonderful animals you would like to become a part of your family, you will submit an application.
2.
Meet the Pet
After your application is approved, we will set up a date for you to meet the potential new family member.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet and fall in love with your new family member, you just have to pay the adoption fee and sign the adoption contract.
4.
Take the Pet Home
Now you get to take your new fur-baby home.

We are a non-profit animal rescue group.
We started out as just a fund, at our local vet, to help pay for operations, etc. for animals in need. Now we rescue animals in need: injured, sick, old, or dying. We give them a second chance and the best life we can until a forever home can be found. We take animals most other rescues turn down because we believe all life is worth our efforts.
Our organization is all volunteer and foster based, because we do not have a shelter. We do not euthanize our animals to make room for more. We run totally on donations and are willing to take any type [money, food, toys, bedding, crates, etc.]. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 2371, Marion NC 28752.
