This sweet old gentleman has had a rough go of things. After years of neglect, he’s finally safe and loved — and now he’s ready for the happy ending he’s always deserved. Despite everything he’s been through, his gentle eyes still sparkle with kindness, and his heart is full of love to give.
He may be a senior, but don’t tell him that! He still enjoys short walks, cozy naps, and a good brushing session. What he really dreams of now is a retirement home where he can be spoiled silly — a soft bed, tasty meals, and someone to tell him every day what a good boy he is.
This resilient Husky has spent too long without comfort or care, and he’s more than ready to spend the rest of his life surrounded by warmth, love, and peace. If you’ve got room in your heart (and your home) for a loyal, grateful companion, this wonderful old soul is waiting just for you.
We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
