My name is Gudol!

Gudol’s story is nothing short of remarkable. He was rescued from a Korean meat farm after a wildfire burned the facility to the ground. Out of all the dogs there, only seven survived—and Gudol was one of them. Thanks to our partners at Humane World for Animals, he was brought to safety and given a second chance at life.

Because he never had the chance to just be a dog, everything is new—soft beds, treats, toys, and even the idea that humans can be kind. He’s still learning at his own pace, and every day we see his confidence and curiosity growing.

One thing we already know? Gudol absolutely loves other dogs. He lights up around canine friends and learns best by following their lead. Having a dog buddy makes him feel more relaxed and brave, and his dog-friendly spirit has already made him a staff favorite.
