Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Donny — joyful, energetic, and full of personality. This is a dog who shows up all in for life, especially when it comes to loving people… and loving food. Donny is a friendly, affectionate boy who thrives on connection and interaction. He recently spent time in a foster home where he was reported to be housebroken. He rides nicely in the car, enjoys being part of the action, and absolutely melts into you the moment you start petting him — seriously, one touch and he’s all yours. Now let’s talk about Donny’s enthusiasm — because it’s a big part of his charm. He loves food (like, really loves it), which makes him highly treat-motivated and a great candidate for continued training. It also means he’s a curious guy who may check counters and tables to see what’s available. But with clear boundaries, consistency, and maybe a sense of humor, Donny`s food focus can be a superpower, not a flaw. Donny will shine with: An active person or family who can match his energy and playful spirit. Plenty of outlets for exercise, fun, and mental stimulation. Positive, food-based training (right up his alley). Dog friends who enjoy a similar play style — he’s been playful with dogs who match his energy. Someone who loves a dog that’s expressive and full of life. Donny is a lot of energy, a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of love — and for the right person, that’s exactly what makes him special. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active, make you laugh, and lean into you for every pet, Donny is ready to meet you. Donny is listed in the age range of 6–10 yrs., weighs 53 lbs., and is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. If you’re looking for a friendly fellow who would love to be part of a family, come meet Donny at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. ID# 59820876
