Denali is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a stunning deep blue coat and the cutest speckled chin that will melt your heart. He came to us through no fault of his own after his owner sadly passed away, and he’s been doing his best to adjust.
Shelter life is tough on Denali—kennels can be stressful—but once he’s out and about, his true personality shines. He is super chill, gentle, and just an all-around nice boy. Denali loves treats (a great way to make instant friends!) and his favorite place to be is right by your side. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to hang out with his person and soak up the love.
Denali would thrive in a home where he can enjoy calm companionship, soft beds, and plenty of time with his humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing best friend with a heart as big as his smile, Denali might be your perfect match.

Additional adoption info
We encourage everyone interested in adopting a new pet to come visit the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter to view the wonderful selection of cats, dogs and small animals we have available for adoption. When you see an animal you are interested in, come in as soon as possible as we are first come, first serve and are unable to place HOLDS on pets over the phone.
Speak to an Adoption Counselor at our Adoption Center regarding your interest to adopt and they will advise you of the Hold and Adoption process. All pets adopted from our facility are microchipped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated for Rabies prior to being released to the adopter. This is required by Texas State Law for any animal adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group. We do allow out of area adoptions as long as the selected pet is old enough to receive these services prior to being released to the adopter.
