My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOOP CATT is a two year old male cat with sleek, black short hair and soft, trusting eyes. He has a curious spirit and an old soul. Playful and energetic, Boop Catt loves chasing string toys and leaping from perch to perch with kitten-like enthusiasm. When he’s done playing, he is all about head butts, chin scratches and soaking up attention. He gets along well with other cats that play nicely. Boop Catt prefers a calm, stable home where he can feel safe. He may take a little time to get comfortable in a new environment, but with love and encouragement he will soon feel more confident. Boop Catt came to CRAN after being abandoned at a local vet hospital with an infection that his prior owners could not manage. CRAN nursed him back to health and he is now thriving. He needs to stay on a prescription diet. Although he’s been through a lot, Boop Catt hasn’t lost the capacity to love. He is seeking just the right person or family to give him the second chance he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who will reward you with soft purrs, headbutts, and the occasional zoomie, Boop Catt is your guy.

Boop Catt has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Boop Catt in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID 2505-C0094

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
