Meet this sweet 2-year-old girl with the brightest spirit, Shasta!

Found with chains around her neck, she hasnt let her rough start dull her shine one bit. Despite the neglect Shasta endured, she remains incredibly open, friendly, and eager to connect with everyone she meets. She has that classic Lab-mix charm happy, affectionate, always ready to wag her tail for a new friend and a wanna be lapdog. She loves attention, enjoys being near her people, and is quickly learning that life can be kind and full of good things. Shes ready for a family who will cherish her, give her the love shes always deserved, and help her continue blossoming into the wonderful dog shes meant to be.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.

We are a private, nonprofit, all breed, no-kill dog rescue.
