Bella – Tiny Princess, Big Heart, World-Class Snuggler

Bella is a gentle, shy Pekingese who wants nothing more than a soft lap and someone to love her back. She walks beautifully on a leash with a little encouragement, and while she hasn’t quite mastered stairs yet, she’s learning to use a ramp and doing her best! Indoors, she’s a perfect lady with no accidents and excellent manners. Bella thinks cats are simply background décor — no chasing, no drama. With most of her teeth missing, she’ll need soft or moistened food, and an adopter who understands senior dog needs would be ideal. But the moment you reach out with a hug or a gentle hand, she melts into pure affection — like the first night in her foster home, when she couldn’t settle until she received a forehead kiss and then slept peacefully for hours. Bella doesn’t ask loudly for attention… but oh, does she blossom when she gets it. She loves running in her foster family’s grass like she’s young again and would love a yard of her own. Bella is ready to be someone’s heart dog — quiet, devoted, and endlessly snuggly.

Bella is a female Pekingese who was was born approximately 10-25-15 and weighs 12 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative. She also had a dental procedure done with several extractions so she will need to remain on a soft diet. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
