Cutie pie Piper is an approximately 1 year old mixed breed dog. Piper came to us in a somewhat frenzied state. A leash and collar were foreign objects to her but she has come such a long way in just a few short weeks! We have learned that Piper is quite the sweetheart and has a silly, playful personality! She’s very affectionate too- leaning in for pets whenever she can. We have also learned how smart she is! She has quickly picked up basic commands and will gladly work for treats. Piper has even come a long way on her leash manners and continues to get better every day. Piper would do best in a home with someone willing to continue her training, and give her time to acclimate to home life. Small children are not recommended since she can be a little jumpy. A fully enclosed fenced yard is required for Piper since she loves the freedom of running around and chasing a ball (and can burn off some of her energy!). Piper is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. She’s also appears to be dog friendly, and we would consider a home with a playful male dog.
