My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At 3 ½ years old, Squishy is the picture of quiet intelligence wrapped in handsome brown tabby stripes.  His bright green eyes and soft white muzzle give him a look of calm curiosity – the kind of cat who always seems to know more than he lets on.

Squishy adores his string toys and will proudly drag them around, even if you’re still holding the other end – a gentle reminder that playtime is on HIS terms.  While he’s not a fan of being picked up, he’s affectionate in his own composed way, happily leaning into pets and soaking up attention.

This thoughtful fellow gets along best with younger cats or kittens, where he can take on the role of the wise, slightly stern teacher.  He’s a quiet companion who won’t demand much – just a little patience and love.  When it’s mealtime, he’ll follow you with silent persistence, his polite way of saying, “Don’t forget me.”

If you are looking for a clever, composed cat with a soft heart and a steady presence, Squishy might just be your perfect match.

You can meet Squishy in person at Petco in Greenfield, 4950 S. 76th St., Greenfield, WI 53220
