My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is extremely timid but with the right person willing to put in the time and patience she needs she could be a loyal companion. She has been on leash and relaxed enough to be pet and not try to bolt.

She does well with other dogs and cats, but small children would probably be counterproductive to the calm, relaxing environment that would do her best in a new home and give her the space to relax.

She is heartworm positive but already started on treatment. Her adoption fees are waived, and the rescue will continue to provide her treatment at no cost to her adopter.
