My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flameheart!

Hi... I'm Flameheart, and I have a confession: I know my name sounds really brave and strong, but... I don't always FEEL brave and strong.

I'm a big orange boy - like, I'm genuinely one of the bigger kittens in my litter. People expect me to be bold and confident because of my size. But here's the truth? Inside this big fluffy body is a gentle soul who gets overwhelmed pretty easily. The world is loud and unpredictable, and sometimes I just want to hide behind my siblings and let THEM be the brave ones.

I'm what you might call a "mushy boy" - I'm soft in every way. Soft fur, soft heart, soft personality. I WANT to be close to you, I WANT to trust you, I WANT to cuddle up and be your big baby... I'm just scared to take that first step.

But you know what helps? FOOD. Oh my goodness, food! When the food bowl comes out, suddenly the world doesn't seem so scary. Food means safety. Food means love. Food means maybe everything is going to be okay. If you want to win my heart (and it's absolutely available for winning), the way in is definitely through my stomach.

Here's what I dream about: a person who won't judge me for being a sensitive guy. Someone who understands that big doesn't mean fearless. Someone patient enough to let me come to them at my own pace - maybe with some tasty treats to help me along the way. Someone who'll let me be their gentle giant, their big mushy boy who just needs a little extra reassurance that the world is safe.

I have SO much love to give. It's all stored up in here, just waiting for someone who'll help me feel brave enough to share it.

Will you be gentle with my big, soft heart?
