Meet Ashwing!

Hi... um... hello. I'm Ashwing, and I'm trying to be brave right now by telling you about myself.

I'm a soft grey boy, and honestly? The world feels really BIG sometimes. All those sounds, new people, sudden movements - it's a lot for a little guy like me. But here's what I want you to know: I'm not unfriendly. I'm just... taking my time to feel safe.

You know who makes me feel safe? My brothers. When I'm with Ardana and Feathertail, I feel like I can conquer the world. Well, maybe not conquer it, but at least peek out from behind the couch at it. They believe in me, and when they're playing, sometimes I join in too. I'm actually pretty playful once I trust you - I just need a minute (or several) to get there.

And food? Oh, food is my LOVE LANGUAGE. You know how some cats are motivated by toys or treats? For me, mealtime is when I feel most confident. When the food bowl comes out, suddenly I'm not so shy anymore. I'll come running! Well... trotting. Okay, cautiously approaching. But I'll get there!

I won't lie to you - I'm going to need patience. I'm not the kitten who runs up to greet strangers or demands attention from everyone. But here's the thing: when I finally DO trust you? When I finally curl up near you or let you pet me? You'll know you EARNED it. And that makes it special.

I'm looking for a quiet home with someone who understands that brave comes in different forms. Someone who won't rush me, who'll let me hide when I need to, and who'll celebrate the small victories - like the first time I eat from your hand, or the day I finally sit on your lap.

I might be shy, but I'm full of love. I just show it quietly.
