My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Licorice!

Licorice is a loving, timid 4-month-old girl with a gentle heart and a big desire to bond with her person. She adores her cat donut bed and happily entertains herself with toys, but her favorite place is stretched out on your lap soaking up all the love she can get.

She’s not a fan of taking medicine, but with a little patience—and laying her gently on her back—she will take it without a fuss. Licorice needs someone who understands cat behavior and can help her blossom at her own pace.  Her fur is soft like velvet!

With consistency and affection, Licorice will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. She just needs someone willing to earn her trust—and she’ll give her whole heart in return.

Go meet their pets

We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
