My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Hi, I’m Gizmo!

I’m a 5-year-old male tabby, and yeah… I might be a little chunky, but that’s only because I’m filled with so much love! My world got turned upside down recently — my family was moving, and they couldn’t take me with them. The good news? I didn’t come alone… I came in with my very best friend, Phoenix.

Phoenix and I aren’t just buddies — we’re a bonded pair. We’ve been together for years, and we depend on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. Where he goes, I want to go too. 💛

I’m a super gentle, affectionate boy who loves head rubs, chin scratches, and cozy naps in warm spots. I may act a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’m all purrs and snuggles. I’m the kind of cat who just wants a soft place to land and a person who will love me for who I am — a big-hearted, chunky cuddlebug with lots of love to give.

If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, calm companions, Phoenix and I would love to start our next chapter together. 🐾💕

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We like to meet prospective adopters and be with them when they meet a potential new pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are strongly encouraged if there are other dog(s) and/or cat(s) or children in the home

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Renter's are required to provide letter from landlord approving a pet or additional pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our fees are low and do not cover much of the expenses we put into the animal prior to its becoming available for adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We ask new owners to not return an animal before 9 days so its entry time can restart.

6.

Take the Pet Home

We remind the new family that it may take up to 3 months for a dog to decompress, learn the the family's routine, and feel at home.

Additional adoption info

We have the right and responsibility to the animal and the prospective new owner to refuse an adoption.

Go meet their pets
