Meet Jamie Apple ~ Jamie Apple is a happy, easygoing kitten who has truly embraced the indoor life. A former farm boy turned cozy house cat, he adapted quickly and now fully enjoys sunny naps in comfy spots around the house. If there’s a beam of sunlight, chances are Jamie Apple is soaking it up.
He’s the most outgoing of his group and was the first to confidently explore the house. You’ll often find him stretched out on a bed, ready for a visit. Jamie loves toys, exploring, and playing with his kitten friends and cousins. When playtime is over, he’s happiest cuddling up with his pack—especially Jenkins and Jonny.
While he’s not quite a full-time lap kitten yet, Jamie Apple has all the makings of one. He greets his foster mom happily and is friendly with visitors, too. He may take a few minutes to observe new people and decide they’re trustworthy, but once he does, he’ll come over to say hello—sometimes even offering a curious sniff.
Jamie is dog-savvy, respectful of the resident cats, and generally a well-mannered little guy who stays out of trouble. He’s playful, social, and always happy to be part of whatever is going on. If you’re looking for a cheerful, confident kitten who loves friends, sunshine, and fun, Jamie Apple could be the perfect addition to your home.
Jamie Apple is from an owner surrender with 7 siblings. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
