What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We rescued Motto about a year and a half ago when he was 4 months old and had spent his life until then in a cage. He was difficult at first, couldn’t be by himself, hated his crate, took months to house train, but after about 6 months of home training and a 10 day boot camp program he turned the corner.
Motto is 1 year and 11 months old. He loves playing with people, bully sticks, car rides, and the outdoors in general. His is an Alaskan Klee Kai (basically a mini husky), has a lot of energy, and loves to play the typical husky games. He is not as loud or vocal as a husky, he is actually very quiet. But his recall isn’t the best, if he is busy and you call him he will just look at you like you're a fool and continue with his little projects.
Hes a very fun dog and it’s extremely hard for us to have to rehome him but due to my out of town job schedule and my wifes health issues, we can no longer provide the attention and care he needs. We will be picky about where he ends up.
