Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our distinguished gentleman, a calm and charming fellow!
He’s a sunbeam enthusiast—if there’s a warm patch of sunlight, you’ll find him in it. He loves quiet, cozy evenings spent with his family, soaking up affection and enjoying the simple comforts of home.
If you’re looking for a sweet, refined companion, Julian might be the perfect fit for your heart and home.
Julian is a little on the reserved side, and might prefer a quieter home to adjust to his surroundings. He does love to be pet and scratched behind the ears!
He has lived with other animals before and would likely adjust to other animals in the home with slow, proper introductions.
All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.
If you are interested in Julian please submit an application today!
Julian is compatible with his brother Murphy (CSHS-A-19168), and they could be adopted together, after all, two is better than one!
This pet would do best in a home with children 8 or older.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
