My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Redbud is a charming and affectionate cat who loves making new friends! He’s a social sweetheart who isn’t shy about showing his love, head bumping, pressing his body against you, and flopping onto his side or belly for pets. Redbud’s soft purrs are sure to melt your heart, especially when paired with some chin rubs or a little one-on-one attention. He also has a playful side and enjoys interactive fun, and he's a fiend for Churu treats. Redbud is looking for a loving family who will appreciate both his cuddly and playful nature. He thrives on connection and attention, offering affection and companionship in return. With Redbud, you’ll gain a gentle, loving friend who loves to play, cuddle, and make every day a little brighter.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
