Meet Yams — your new zooming, honking, treat-loving sidekick!
Yams is a young, active, playful girl who comes with one setting: GO! She loves to zoom around her pen with Olympic-level enthusiasm, darting through her tube, hopping onto furniture, and excavating her hay-filled digging box like she’s searching for buried treasure. After she’s burned through her sass and speed, she’ll happily stretch out for a well-earned snooze, looking extremely proud of herself.
This confident little adventurer gets along well with her foster family’s two small dogs — she’ll even let them wander into her space without a fuss. She’s less impressed with Zeb the resident rabbit (she thinks boys are annoying, thank you very much), so if you have a bunny who respects boundaries, she might bond in the future — she’s still young, so the potential is there. With humans, she’s been a champ! She lives with a 14-year-old and has handled visits from younger kids like a pro, graciously accepting pets and snacks.
Yams is full of adorable quirks. She’s a happy honker (especially at treat o’clock), gives sweet little kisses, and has totally nailed her daily routine. When she hears “Who needs to brush their teeth?” she pops up like a meerkat, ready for her nightly pea & mint garden stick. She’d also make a great work-from-home buddy — she’s curious and social but knows how to settle in and chill.
With proper bunny-proofing (she has sampled a baseboard or two — quality control, obviously), Yams could be a free-roamer. She adores having a cozy zone to retreat to and LOVES hanging out on the roof of her Cottontail Cottage. She’s not an escape artist or a jumper, so her pen setup has been just fine.
A few notes for her future family: she’s not wild about carriers and doesn’t adore being picked up, but she tolerates it. The good news? She’s a fantastic eater and is fully litter trained. Health-wise, she’s a thriving, happy, healthy young bun who’s ready for her forever home.
If you’re looking for a playful, charming, routine-loving bunny with zoomies for days and honks for every occasion, Yams might be your perfect match!
