My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

History: Ailani is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!

A Note from the Foster: Ailani is adjusting to her new life very quickly! She is starting to show a lot of personality and energy. She loves being where the people are and where the action is and she gets very excited to see you. She gets along with our other dogs and often initiates play. She has a lot of love to give and loves belly rubs. She does calm down quickly when appropriate, and settles in nicely in the evening when we're watching TV or reading.

She is doing pretty well with potty training, however, she doesn't show a lot of signs of when she has to go, but when let out regularly, she does great.

We have learned she is not a big fan of her kennel. So we have set up a bed next to ours and she does great there at night - she stays put and sleeps the whole night through. However, during the day, when nobody is home, we do put her in the kennel and give her treats and toys and she seems to do ok. She is very happy to see you when you get home!

Besides her current bad haircut, Ailani is overall a great dog and companion. She will bring joy to most households.
