I rescued Moose from an unsafe home as a kitten in 2020. He lived with me for only a year before I moved out of state for work. I was heartbroken at the time, but rehomed him with my mother. I thought it would would be a temporary living situation for him, but my work kept me out of state for years. He has a good home living with my mom, but has become somewhat of a financial burden for her and I as I try to support him from afar as best as I can. Wherever he goes he needs to have access outside, and needs to live alone from other cats. He’s okay with dogs, he was raised as a kitten with dogs. He’d be happiest as a only child. I’m happy to home him until a good home with ideal conditions is found. I’m sure he could be eventually trained to stay indoors. He was only indoors when he lived with me. Living with other cats my mom owns has made him upset, but deep down he’s a loving cat. He just needs focused one on one attention that he can’t receive here.
