Meet Gotti. He came to us as a hopeful participant in our TNR program in November, but was found to already have been neutered (though he didn`t have a microchip). We tipped his left ear intending to return him back to where he was found in accordance with our TNR program, but ultimately decided to keep him and try and find a home or rescue for him.
Gotti is 14 years old. He`s a sweetie, but we know his face doesn`t look it! He`s just got a rude resting face! The shelter is no place for one in his golden years. Don`t let a common, treatable fungus be the reason Gotti has to wait in shelter. Help him find a cozy place to retire in peace and comfort!

More about this shelter
We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
