Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Joyce, a two year old spayed female who has been surrendered to the shelter a few times now. Despite her cute face and fun loving personality, Joyce isn't the perfect fit for all cat owners. She has had some behavior litter box issues that we've been attempting to address here at the shelter. She always pees inside of the litterbox, however, sometimes she will choose to poop outside of the litterbox. We believe that to set Joyce up for success, her new family would need to provide her with lots of litterboxes and free space to roam. Because of her long fur, regular brushing and dematting is important as well. We noticed that her issues were exacerbated when she had tight mats in her fur that pulled at her skin. If you'd like to take a chance on this sweet kitty, stop by the shelter during our open hours! We'd be happy to answer any questions that you have about Joyce.
To meet Joyce in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. To download an application, please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.com. Please call the shelter at (715)-861-5748 with any other questions.
