My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zippy is a domestic shorthair black female who is 3 months old. She is currently in with her sister Zena and Zoe.

Meet Zippy! This sweet girl is full of spunk and charm, and she absolutely adores being right in the middle of the action with her siblings, wrestling, chasing, and playing to her little heart’s content.

One of Zippy’s cutest quirks? She loves drinking from her electric water fountain and she dips her paw in the water every time she takes a sip! It’s impossible not to smile watching her little rituals.

Zippy is also a total cuddle bug. She meows excitedly to greet her human friends the moment they walk into the room, hoping for snuggles, pets, or a spot on a warm lap. She’s affectionate, playful, and has a big heart wrapped in a tiny, adorable package. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited kitten with endless love to give, Zippy is ready to steal your heart.

Zippy would like to go to a home with one of her sisters or to a home with a young cat or dog friend to match her energy level.

Zippy is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP. She will still need her rabies vaccine when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of her adopter. Her adoption fee is $300 or $550 as a pair with her sister. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
