My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zena is a domestic shorthair black female who is 3 months old. She is currently in with her sister Zippy and Zoe.

Meet Zena! Zena is the bold, adventurous acrobat of her litter, the first to leap, climb, and conquer any high place she can find! She’s full of confidence and energy, and she absolutely loves showing off her athletic skills.

One of her favourite games is carrying a toy proudly in her mouth while her siblings chase her around trying to steal it back. She thinks it’s the best game ever and it’s adorable.

But don’t let her wild side fool you, Zena is also a major cuddlebug. Once she’s finished her adventures, she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for a long, cozy nap. And when she settles in? You’re not moving. She will happily trap you under her purring, snuggly little body for hours. If you want a playful little gymnast who also melts into you at the end of the day, Zena is your girl.

Zena would like to go to a home with one of her sisters or to a home with a young cat or dog friend to match her energy level.

Zena is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP. She will still need her rabies vaccine when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of her adopter. Her adoption fee is $300 or $550 as a pair with her sister. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
