Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Visit FishysFriendsRescue.com to review our adoption process & apply generally or directly for an available dog!
  2. Approve Application
    1. Once you apply, we’ll review, conduct checks, and schedule a phone interview & home visit to find the perfect match!
  3. Interview
    1. Once your application is reviewed, we'll schedule a phone interview to get to know you & ensure the best match for our pups!
  4. Home Check
    1. After your phone interview, we'll schedule a home check to ensure a safe and loving environment for your future furry friend!
  5. Approve Application
    1. Once approved, you'll be matched with the perfect pup and move on to the next steps in the adoption process!
  6. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Meet & Greet, sign contract, pay fees, celebrate Gotcha Day, and join our post-adoption support group!
