Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***MUST REMAIN AN INDOOR PET***
Meet Tansy — the Charming Gentleman with the Longest Whiskers and the Sweetest Heart!
Tansy is a stunning male cat with beautiful, eye-catching colors and an expression that always looks like he has something very important to say. His long, elegant whiskers frame his face perfectly, giving him an extra dash of character and charm.
This friendly boy warms up quickly and loves being around people, but what truly makes him light up is the company of other cats. Tansy is a social butterfly in feline form — he enjoys gentle play, shared naps, and simply being part of the group. If you already have a kitty at home, he’ll fit right in. If you don’t, he’d be thrilled to make new friends.
Affectionate, expressive, and irresistibly sweet, Tansy is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a little extra personality to a lucky forever home. Could that be yours?
Tansy's date of birth is 10/14/2021.
All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee (local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions.
All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:
• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped • 30-day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.) • 30-day money back guarantee
Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3-month heartworm/flea/tick prevention • If renting, verification with landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc. • Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility
Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements. For more information about this animal and other please visit our website at fayettefcar.com or contact us at 901/854-2565.
