Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET PIPER!
My friends describe me as: Enthusistic, Friendly, Playful
Piper is here because her owners knew that there was someone out there like you that could give her everything she needs! This includes lots of love, sniffy walks, hikes, doggy playtime (with well matched friends) and can teach her all the fun basic cues that will help her be a perfect angel! Her personality is friendly and sweet. When she looks up at you with those big puppy eyes and floppy ears you`ll instantly melt with love and affection for her. Piper can be a bit selective about what dogs can join her inner circle, so she likely would not be the best fit for a lifestyle that inlcudes doggy daycare or the dog park. Please consider coming by and meeting this very special girl. You won`t regret it!
Piper is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.
For more information on Piper or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird

More about this shelter
Pets are family. This belief is at the heart of everything we do at the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
We are the first female-founded animal welfare organization in Massachusetts and are proud to carry on a legacy of kindness and compassion, helping more than 20,000 animals annually since 1899.
Recognized for our innovative, award-winning programs that go beyond sheltering, we address the root causes of the issues facing animals and the people who love them.
By partnering with communities, we help animals heal and thrive, keep pets and people together, and protect animals from harm.
Because there is no government funding for this important work, animals must rely on people like you to get the care they need, when they need it most, 365 days a year.
