My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Levi (born around November of 2024) is a chihuahua mix who was surrendered to the municipal shelter along with 28 other chihuahuas from a local hoarding case. He was transferred to Safe Haven along with two of the other chihuahuas his same age. He is quite shy and skittish, so our volunteers and staff are working with him to build his confidence and trust in humans. He has gained confidence already walking on a leash and harness on the walking trail, but he becomes very nervous when being held or petted. Levi is looking for a forever family who will be patient with his shyness as he learns the rules of living in a home.
