My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Will is a goofy, high-energy guy who's always ready for fun! At just 3 years old, he's got plenty of pep in his step and is looking for a family that loves to play, explore, and stay active. Whether it's a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or zoomies in the backyard-Will is all in!

Will would do best in a home with older kids (around 10 and up) who can keep up with his energy. He needs to go to a home with no dogs or cats.

The staff at HAWS are looking forward to meet Will's forever family and help you get off to a great start. They'll share all the best tips on how to help Will settle in and keep him happily entertained.

If you're looking for a four-legged adventure buddy who loves to keep moving, Will might just be your new best friend!

Will is also eligible for our Foster to Adopt program. To participate in the Foster to Adopt program, you will need to complete the Foster to Adopt
application which requires you to watch two short videos (less than 9 minutes total for the two) and answer 8 questions. If you want to learn more, visit

More about this shelter

Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) is an open-admission, no-kill shelter dedicated to strengthening the relationship between animals and humans through adoptions and education – making a more compassionate community possible.

Our mission is to lead the community in animal welfare and assure sanctuary for animals in need. To that end, we envision a community where all animals are treated with compassion, dignity and respect. We invite the public to join us in our cause to spread humane sentiments throughout our community for the betterment of animals and people alike.

Incorporated in 1965, HAWS has grown along with our community, evolving into a vibrant organization and a lively facility that is the #1 resource for pets and their people.
