LOCATED IN FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ. Meet Daphne — The Tiny Tornado of Love! Daphne is a 1-year-old Dalmatian who’s an absolute doll — affectionate, sweet, and full of joy. She’s a petite girl at just 36 lbs, but don’t let her size fool you — this girl has big puppy energy! Daphne adores other dogs and is the life of the party at doggie daycare. When playtime is over, she transforms into the sweetest snuggle bug who loves to be petted and cuddled. Daphne’s smart and observant. She’s crate-trained, rides well in the car (working on exiting calmly), knows “no,” “sit,” and is learning “down.” Leash manners are still a “work in progress.” Daphne hasn’t been tested with kids, but she’d likely do well with respectful, older children who can match her enthusiasm and energy. And although she’s fantastic with other dogs, she’s probably not a good match for cats. Like many young pups, Daphne can be mischievous and occasionally destructive if left to her own devices — she’s been known to chew, dig, or “redecorate” the yard. Training and exercise, along with supervision and a crate or playpen when not supervised, will help her learn better habits. Daphne is a young Dalmatian with a high energy level and needs exercise or play each day to be her happiest self. She will thrive in an active household that enjoys running, hiking, or going on adventures. A playful canine companion at home would be a huge bonus! Brain games will also help channel her energy. Daphne’s future family should be committed to continuing her training to help her become her best self. If you’re ready for a fun, affectionate, high-energy — sometimes mischievous — sidekick who will make you laugh every single day, Daphne might just be your girl. Daphne is current on vaccinations and spayed. ADOPTION FEE $400. For more information, contact Tena at info@dalmatianrescueco.org . If interested in this dog, please go to www.dalmatianrescueco.org and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy.
