My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

April’s rescue story began in a warehouse in Everman, where Meowtown volunteers found her and her tiny sisters struggling to survive. At barely half a pound, April needed full neonatal care — round-the-clock bottle feedings, warm sponge baths, and time in an incubator to keep her safe and thriving. Thanks to lots of love and careful nurturing, she has grown into a healthy, happy kitten who can now do all the big-girl kitty things!

April is a sweet, gentle, playful little girl who can entertain herself for ages with toys, zoomies, and exploring… until she suddenly melts into a cozy nap with her people or in a warm patch of sunshine.

She grew up around dogs and other cats and will do wonderfully in a home with a cat-friendly dog and another kitty companion. While she hasn’t been around children yet, her mild, gentle personality suggests she would do well with respectful, responsible kids.

April is ready for her forever family — one that will give her the love she’s known from the moment she was rescued!

Born 7/19/2025.
