When Mimi was found, she wasn’t even recognizable as a dog… just a matted, tangled little ball on the floor, her fur heavy with dirt and neglect.
Her eyes said everything: fear, exhaustion, abandonment. 💔
No animal should ever reach this point…
And yet Mimi stayed quiet, still, and somehow hopeful — waiting for someone, anyone, to finally see her.
Then a young boy walked up to her with the gentleness only a child carries and whispered:
“Your suffering is over.”
He lovingly helped her into the car, excited to give her the first moment of safety she’s felt in a long time.
🌟 Sometimes children see what adults overlook — a heart still willing to trust. 🌟
Today, Mimi is safe, clean, and slowly learning that not all humans hurt.
She’s calm, polite, timid, and taking small brave steps toward believing in love again. 💛
Now she needs a soft place to land.
A home that understands healing takes time.
A heart patient enough to show her the world isn’t scary anymore. 🏡💕

We require all animals to meet current resident animals and for there to be a 1-3 night overnight trial period. Following this, if the dog is a good fit, we will fill out adoption forms.
