My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mariah! Mariah is a beautiful young mama who recently arrived at the shelter with her kittens. Now that her little ones are safe, it’s her turn to find a home where she can feel secure, loved, and cherished. Mariah is a quiet, sweet-natured girl who is still adjusting to shelter life. New environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she’s hoping for a calm, patient adopter who can give her the gentle reassurance she needs. A quieter home would suit her best — one where she can take her time to settle in and show her true personality. With kindness, patience, and a little space to decompress, Mariah is sure to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion. She has so much love to give; she’s simply waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to share it. To meet Mariah, complete an online application at www.washingtonpashelter.org or visit during walk through hours on Tuesday 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday through Saturday 1pm - 4pm.
