Rusty is a nearly 6-year-old bloodhound mix with huge, floppy ears and an even bigger heart. He’s a food-driven dog, making him a breeze to train, especially when treats are involved! Rusty loves his walks and thrives with a strong leader by his side, always excited to explore the world around him. He’s amazing with kids, bringing tons of love and energy to family activities. Rusty gets along well with most dogs but prefers to avoid cats. Despite some hearing loss, his enthusiasm for life is as huge as his ears, and he’s always ready for his next adventure.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information.
