If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Max is joyous, energetic and loyal. He loves people, children and other dogs. He especially enjoys a good walk or time at the dog park and mealtimes. He is a Standard Schnauzer and weighs about 50 lbs. He currently lives with Hazel, an 11 year old Labrador Retriever, and loves her dearly. Once Max gets to know other dogs, he assimilates well and feels comfortable and develops a friendship. His owner is an elderly man who lives alone and is now on hospice. He has loved Max dearly since he was a puppy, and is hoping to help Max find his forever home now that he has a terminal illness.
